Good evening. It's again time to move your comments over to this fresh thread, as the Crisis Center from earlier in the day has filled up, and is slow to load. Today the last men's first-round matches have been played, along with some women's second-round matches. J0-Wilfried Tsonga returned with a four-set win over Santiago Ventura, while Novak Djokovic took care of Arnaud Clement in straight sets. Jelena Jankovic eventually fought off Sofia Arvidsson, in an extended three-set battle. Marin Cilic took five sets to dispatch Julien Benneteau, which the Tribe was forced to track via a live scoreboard.

The big match for the remainder of the evening, after Lindsay Davenport progresssed in straight sets over Alisa Kleybanova, will be Andy Roddick taking on Fabrice Santoro. The players are due on court any moment now.

Please keep comments focused on the day's tennis. Once the day's matches are over, some off-topic discussions are OK.
