In keeping with our recent, ongoing ruminations on the para-normal, I am going to suggest that Novak Djokovic actually IS one of the "Wild and Crazy Guys" from the original, hilarious Saturday Night Live skits. This is your Crisis Center post for discussing the ongoing US Open- if you want to chit-chat about other things, The Deuce Club is your OT thread.

My weekend advisory: I am leaving this evening for Connecticut and my niece's wedding on Saturday, but I hope to post on the women's semifinals before I go. I'm borrowing comrade Steve Tignor from Concrete Elbow tomorrow; he will be covering Super Saturday here at TennisWorld.

I will be back to cover the US Open men's final.

I ought to fill the rest of this white space below, to the bottom of the picture, but I'm late for meetinng Ptenisnet (he's coming to the USTABJKNTC today), so I'd better get rolling and stretch this sentence out to go all the way down to the bottom of this page even with the sole of Novak's Adidas sneaker. There!
