Venus performs cheer routine at Lakers' halftime show

Is that a professional Lakers' cheerleader or seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams? The 39-year-old suited up in cheer uniform on Tuesday night in Los Angeles to perform a routine to Zedd & Alessia Cara's "Stay."

Retired NFL star Rob Gronkowski also shared the center court stage with Venus, along with James Corden. The unbelievable bonus entertainment during the halftime show was for the filming of CBS's Game On.

According to Deadline, Game On is a remake of Corden’s British game show A League Of Their Own and stars Venus and Gronkowski, and host Keegan-Michael Key.

Venus and Gronkowski will lead two teams that will be "navigating rounds of sporting questions and physical challenges, such as sumo wrestling." The show is co-produced by Corden's production company Fulwell 73.

“We couldn’t have found a better host and partner in Keegan," said executive producer Ben Winston. "And I can’t wait to see Gronk and Venus as we’ve never seen them before, going head to head in some epic yet ridiculous battles.”
