Verdasco celebrates birthday in a big way in Doha
Fernando Verdasco recently went on a part work, part play trip to Doha and seems to be infatuated with the small Middle Eastern nation of Qatar.
The Spaniard was in town to put on a clinic at the Smash Tennis Academy at the Dana Club.
He enjoyed the city's skyscraper views.
And spent plenty of time at the beach.
He even hopped on a jet ski.
The world No. 28 got to celebrate his 35th birthday in Qatar.
And also announced that he's expecting a baby with wife Ana Boyer.
The former world No. 7 had a strong 2018 season reaching three semifinals, the final in Rio, and the fourth round at Wimbledon. He scored Top-20 wins over Kyle Edmund, Pablo Carreno Busta, Grigor Dimitrov (twice) and Dominic Thiem.
