WATCH: Ahn, Chirico sing Coldplay for COVID-19 relief
To raise money for World Central Kitchen and its COVID-19 relief efforts, Kristie Ahn and Louisa Chirico are putting on a "virtual concert" for four weeks. Listeners who donate to the campaign can request a song, and the pair will randomly pick one to record each week.
For Week 1, they made a stay-at-home duet of Coldplay's "Yellow," with Ahn playing guitar and Chirico singing lead vocals:
World Central Kitchen says it provides 250,000 meals per day, giving much-needed assistance to families, seniors and hospital workers.
As of this writing, "Louisa and Kristie’s MUSIC TO FEED" has raised $795 for the organization. Three weeks remain to donate and perhaps even select the next song.
