WATCH: Azarenka picks up ice skating in Central Park

After a sunny beachside vacation, Victoria Azarenka headed to New York City in search of snow. While she's likely not going to get it, it's plenty cold in Manhattan.

The 29-year-old hit a few classic Christmas-time tourist activities, like walking through the decorated streets and ice skating in Central Park.

For her very first time, that move is pretty impressive. But the Belarusian was getting tips from Olympic ice dancer Sinead Kerr.

Azarenka really got into her new sport.

She usually spends her time in New York over in Flushing Meadows during the peak heat of the late summer so forgive her for getting a little excited.

Azarenka finished an almost full season back on tour ranked No. 51, after playing her first event in March and wrapping things up after Tokyo in September.
