WATCH: Djokovic plays in the rain in Dominican Republic

There's no better way to refresh and reset than with a vacation. After a disappointing U.S. hard-court swing, Novak Djokovic headed south to the Dominican Republic.

Ever a fan of Mother Nature, the Serbian enjoyed a jungle hike accompanied by his wife Jelena, and complete with fresh snacks of coconuts and almonds.

With the clay-court season already underway, the world No. 1 was sure to hit the practice court, and didn't let a little rain slow him down too much.

Djokovic is already back in Monte Carlo where he's gearing up for his first clay event of 2019. The Monte Carlo ATP Masters 1000 starts on Monday.
