The American has been dealing with injuries all season long.
Nicole Gibbs won't be competing at Wimbledon this year. The world No. 124 is skipping the grass-court season to let her body rest ahead of the grueling United States hard-court season.
She and her team decided that grass would be too great of a challenge with all the injuries she has been dealing with. The 24-year-old had both wrist and knee injuries earlier this season, and sustained a muscle tear in her leg during the clay-court season.
