The Hit - Did You Know The Rock

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Before Dwayne Johnson became "The Rock" he was a student-athlete at the University of Miami. He joined the Miami Hurricanes on a full scholarship in 1991 and was part of the NCAA-winning team that same year.

What does this have to do with this week's Miami Open? The Hurricanes now call the Hard Rock Stadium their home field, moving from the Orange Bowl in Little Havana to Miami Gardens in 2008. While Johnson's NFL career never took off after four years with the Hurricanes, his wrestling career did, as he has gone on to become one of the most recognizable actors in the business.
