WATCH: The Williams sisters had slight size advantage in Roland Garros



On Wednesday, you might have saw that we wrote about Serena Williams and Venus Williams teaming up to beat Shuko Aoyoma and Miyu Kato 4-6, 6-4, 6-1 in their opening-round doubles match at the French Open.

What we didn't mention in that story is just how big of a mismatch it was in terms of size. The Williams sisters are two players that one would never consider to be small, as Serena is listed as 5'9'' and Venus is 6'1''. Their opponents, on the other hand, didn't necessarily see them eye-to-eye on Wednesday. Just take a look for yourselves:

It is worth noting that while this might appear to have been a David and Goliath situation, the match was anything but that. Aoyoma and Kato took it to the Williams sisters right from the opening point and it took a big comeback for the Americans to ultimately win.
