WATCH: Wozniacki and Djokovic clash with umpires
Both players had some struggles with authority at the French Open
Friday's day in the office was tough for defending Roland Garros champion Novak Djokovic. Embroiled in a third-round battle with Diego Schwartzman, Djokovic got into a heated argument with umpire Carlos Ramos.
Up 4-0 in the fourth set, the world No. 2 was punished after taking too long to serve (he lost his first serve). He was then given a warning for unsportsmanlike conduct after pretending to hit a ball toward the umpire's chair (he didn't actually go through with it).
Djokovic would prevail, 5-7, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1, 6-1, to reach the fourth round.
He wasn't the only one struggling with authority in Paris. After winning the first set of her third-round match against teenager CiCi Bellis, Wozniacki started to complain that it was too dark.
In the umpire's defense, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga's match against Renzo Olivo went on until almost 10 p.m. a few days prior, but Friday evening saw much darker skies.
Luckily for Wozniacki, she got her way when it began raining while she was down 5-2, suspending the match until Saturday.
