Alexander Zverev is normally seen as mature beyond his years, taking his meteoric rise to Top 5 stardom with humility and grace. However, even the most stoic of players crack under dire circumstances, and that's exactly what happened to the German. He dropped a tough, 3-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4 match to Juan Martin del Potro in Shanghai.

A smash and a snap later, and Zverev had performed one of the most epic racket smashes this year.

He admitted his anger quite openly:

"I'm just pissed off", explains Zverev after this loss. "I just don't understand how I can lose a match where I've been broken only once."

The good news is there will be plenty more opportunities for the 20-year-old, even this season. He became the youngest in nine years to qualify for the ATP Finals in London.
