Wawrinka shares behind-the-scenes video from Prague
Stan Wawrinka may be skipping the New York City hard-court swing, but he's back in action this week at an ATP Challenger in Prague. He shared a "day in the life" video of what it looks like to compete again in the new normal.
On Monday, the 35-year-old won his first match back over Roman Safiullin, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1. He admitted he's a little rusty, but who wouldn't be after nearly six months off?
His last ATP match was a quarterfinal loss in Acapulco to Grigor Dimitrov in February. At No. 17 in the world, Wawrinka is top seed in Prague and he'll face Oscar Otte next.
