Wimbledon Crisis Center, Day 2
By Rosangel Valenti, TW Contributing Editor

Good morning. This is today's place for gathering to discuss or match-call the tennis that's going on. Given the volume of traffic that occurs during any Slam, we'd be grateful if you could keep this thread focused on tennis, and take any off-topic conversations over to the Monday Net Post that's still open below. Today's Order of Play can be found here. I'll be leaving home shortly to make my way over to the leafy suburb that is currently hosting The Championships, with a Centre Court ticket in hand, and will report back on my day in the Day 3 Crisis Center post.
Daily Weather Report:
The view from my top window today shows a blue sky, a few wisps of white cloud, and minimal wind to disturb the garden vegetation. Some sun is expected in SW19 as well. The week's sunniest day is projected to be Thursday. The longer-range weather forecast currently indicates the possibility of some light rain on Friday and Saturday.
Match of the Day:
John Isner versus Ernests Gulbis (out on Court 15, where relatively few people are likely to see it).
Player of the Day:
From yesterday, Frank Dancevic, who defeated number seven seed David Nalbandian in straight sets.
Picture of the Day:
For anyone who hasn't already seen the garment dominating much of the discussion in TW yesterday evening, here it is.
As always, enjoy today's tennis.
