With one photograph, the tennis world turns its attention to Rafael Nadal

Emojis, quick wit and replies build the anticipation of Rafa's return.

Game, Set, Bet: Rafa's new value at Roland Garros1:02

A picture, and a muscle emoji, is worth a couple thousand retweets. When that picture is of Rafael Nadal moving to hit a forehand on red clay after being absent from the tour since January.

It's a beautiful scene: an azure sky and puffy clouds contrast the brick-red clay below. The only motion is Rafa, preparing for his latest run to Roland Garros—and perhaps an incomparable 15th title.

If he does that, the Spaniard's total of French Open titles alone would put him third on the all-time Grand Slam titles list.

@RolandGarros replied as one does: 👀

"Name a better duo, I'll wait," tweeted @Tennis_Section.

"Don't trust your God. But trust Rafa on clay," wrote @mitosis1991.

Late last week, the Monte Carlo Masters Twitter account confirmed that Nadal would be playing this year's tournament, which he's won only 11 times. We have some plans in store for that return. 👀

And based on the amount of social reach in Rafa's post, so do the 23k people who Liked Rafa's latest post, if not the 784k that viewed it.

Those numbers will only go up—just as Rafa's seemingly always do on his favorite playing surface.
