Morning. This is today's thread for discussing the tennis being played, including the semifinals of the WTA's year-ending Sony Ericsson Championships in Madrid - Maria Sharapva versus Anna Chakvetadze, followed by Justine Henin against Ana Ivanovic. As I write, Sharapova is serving for the first set.

You will be provided with a separate Crisis Center thread for discussing the Shanghai Tennis Masters Cup when it begins.

Some off-topic comments are acceptable on this thread, but heavy OTs belong in the Deuce Club, two below this one. It's fine to discuss other general tennis-related topics in the current thread.

Today's photo choice blatantly panders to many TW posters who commented on the picture at the top of the WTA YEC Crisis Center: Day 3 thread. Given the way Justine Henin is playing this week, this could be the last time I'll have a chance to post a photo of Ana for the Tribe this year.

Before anyone asks, this one was from the Associated Press, and It's the picture I had picked out for the Day 3 thread before seeing that day's final choice.
