WTT teams find new-normal ways to celebrate
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va.—Even with social distancing in place, team spirit is on full display at World TeamTennis. For many players, this season is their first time away from home in months, as well as their first time competing.
After several rounds of COVID-19 testing, players are not wearing masks on court (when not competing) while still respecting social distancing guidelines. That means team celebrations, high fives and group photos look a little different, but teams are still bonding in creative ways.
Here's a look at what the new normal is like:
