Christmas came early for the daughters of two former Australian Open champions this week. Angelique Kerber and Naomi Osaka's baby daughters both received a special gift from their mothers' sponsor Yonex in the form of miniature racquet replicas and monogrammed bag.

Kerber, who gave birth to Liana in February, posted some sweet snapshots of her daughter enjoying her new gear on Instagram on Saturday.

In addition to a red racquet that matched Kerber's, stenciled with Liana's name inside the throat, the youngster was also gifted a little red backpack with her name on it.

"Our tennis bags are ready for Australia," the former world No. 1 wrote in the caption.

On her Instagram story, Osaka posted her and Shai's racquets side-by-side, along with a bag also monogrammed with the baby's name.

The pair's frames were a matching black in color, and featured the dragon and spider lily-inspired design that was customized by Osaka and her sister, Mari Osaka, in 2022.

Kerber and Osaka are set to make their respective returns to tennis ahead of next month's Australian Open, which they won in 2016 and 2019, respectively, at a pair of tune-up events that begin next week.

Kerber will represent Germany at the United Cup, which begins on Wednesday, and Osaka received a wildcard for the Brisbane International, which begins on Dec. 31.
