Your Call, 10.3

Howdy. Things were hopping last night over at the Deuce Club, where our social directorJackie-oh! rolled out her debut post. If you have a particular subject you'd like throw out for discussion in DC, either tennis-related or off-topic, I suggest you email Jackie; I hope to have her set up with her own "social director" email address via Tennis.com within the next few days. Watch this space for an announcement.
We've talked about having a "book group" post/discussion on the book I recently published with Pete Sampras, A Champion's Mind. I'd like to do that next week, and am still mulling over our options. I'm leaning toward writing a mid-week post and then having a 60 or 90 minute "live chat" in the comments, probably starting around noon, to accomodate as many participants as possible. Does that work for most of you?
I imagine many of you also watched the vice-Presidential debate last night. We'll talk about the election in the future too, because I'm really curious to know what you think about the candidates and issues. But let's not get into that just now; if and when we do it, it will be a civil, monitored exercise. For today, feel free to comment on today's tennis action below, and go OT if you like. I'll be back with a red-meat post this afternoon.
