Your Call, 5.10

Hi everyone. While first-round WTA action continues in Madrid, and the first few ATP main-draw matches will also be played there, we have three ATP finals taking place today. Please use this post to discuss the matches, or any other tennis-related subjects of the day.
From the Estoril Open we have received today's picture and the following remarks from Miguel Seabra:
Saturday was a tough day at the Estádio Nacional -- after the women's singles and doubles finals, it started to pour down... postponing the beginning of the men's semifinals to a point that it was decided to have them simultaneously on the Center Court and the Centralito. They started at the same time, but there were two rain interruptions and only Albert Montañes could make it through after beating Chilean outsider Paul Capdeville 6-3, 6-4... while on the Center Court Nikolay Davydenko and James Blake were fighting for the other final spot. Blake had a 4-1 lead in the first set, then lost four games in a row and both men traded breaks to get the set into a tie-break. Davydenko was more consistent throughout the breaker, but then relaxed a bit and James could forge a lead that got him to 4-2 at the point when it was too dark to continue.
So, at noon, Davydenko and Blake will be back on Center Court; the final is scheduled to start at 3 pm... I hope it doesn't rain again. The first seven days of the tournament were glorious!
As I write, Blake and Davydenko are locked at one set all, after the second set also extended to a tiebreak. The final in Estoril commences at 10 a.m. TW time, as does the final of the Belgrade Open. Lukasz Kubot, the Polish lucky loser ranked 118 who made it through yesterday's semifinal against Ivo Karlovic to face Novak Djokovic in the final, is also playing in today's doubles final. Meanwhile the Munich final between Mikhail Youzhny and Tomas Berdych starts at 9 a.m. TW time.
As always, enjoy today's tennis.
