Howdy, everyone. This will be quick because I have to jump on a conference call with Marat Safin in a little bit. Did you see that Alize Cornet is rolling in Bad Gastein? I always wanted to write "Bad Gastein" - the name of that Austrian resort town just sounds so. . . bad. And of course I mean "bad" in today's idiom, so it really means "good."

It's a romantic name, Bad Gastein, or perhaps I was overly impressed and carried away by the dark allure of  Gravity's Rainbow (or was it something Thomas Mann wrote - the Magic Mountain perhaps?). So just think of this as your sanatorium for the day, where you can discuss the events in Bad Gastein and other tennis outposts. I'll be back with news of Marat a little later.
