Your Call, 8.05

88842756 Okay, everyone. I'm officially fried after a few nights of packing and getting ready to have the contents of our little family's life moved into storage for two or three weeks. I sure hope we can get into the new place by the time the US Open starts. For those who don't know, my son Luke and I are lighting out for Montana tomorrow morning at around this time, and I will be unavailable via email, telephone, carrier pigeon, or even shouting really, really loudly until August 12th. Smoke signals might work, though, as I'll be spending a fair amount of time on the Fort Belknap Indian reservation (Gros Ventre and Assiniboine).

Andy Roddick swings into action for the first time since suffering that epic loss in the recent Wimbledon final, at the Legg Mason final (he looks rather Federer-esque in the picture above, doesn't he?). And I welcomed the news that Rafael Nadal will be back in action for the first time since his loss to Robin Soderling (I know, I know, "Did you have to bring that up?") at Roland Garros. And Maria Sharapova has already won her first match in Los Angeles. Things are heating up all right, and by the time they get sizzling hot I ought to be back in the kitchen. See you all in a week's time, enjoy the Tennis and your fellow TWibe readers.

PS - Rosangel, Andrew, and Jackie will be minding the shop while I'm away, so you'll have not just plenty to talk about while I'm gone, but a place to do it.
