Last week, Felix Auger-Aliassime helped Canada win its first-ever Davis Cup title. Although this was a significant feat, success is nothing new to the talented 22-year-old.

As the world No. 6, Auger-Aliassime has been consistently dominant, with 2022 being his best season yet.

The young Canadian strives to be the best all while learning from and defeating some of the best. This summer, Auger-Aliassime beat world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz, and he did it again during the fall.

Propelling off his momentum, he also qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals for the first time—and then earned first victory at the exclusive event against his childhood idol, Rafael Nadal.

It’s only fitting that Auger-Aliassime also trains with Rafa’s uncle, Toni Nadal. The two began working with each other for more than a year which has resulted in a season full of triumph.

Some of Felix’s accomplishments include:

  • Four ATP singles trophies in 2022
  • Personal best record of 60-27 during 2022 season
  • First-ever Canadian men's semifinalist during 2021 US Open

Before this year, Auger-Aliassime had never won an ATP Final—in fact, he lost his first eight title matches. A year later, and he has won four of his last five, including Basel, Antwerp, and Florence in consecutive weeks this fall.

His singles superiority translates seamlessly when playing with his teammates. He brought home the ATP Cup with Denis Shapovalov in January and now, the Davis Cup, in which he secured the winning point against Alex de Minaur, 6-3, 6-4.

Seven years prior, Auger-Aliassime helped lead Canada to another victory with the Junior Davis Cup, and has proven able to display his skills on an even larger stage.

With the prominent resume he has achieved in his career thus far, he has earned endorsement deals with Adidas, Babolat and Tag Heuer.

At this rate, look for more sponsorships of the court, and more success on it.
